Volstrup Fiskepark was laid out in 1993 in a meadow area that now supplies the lake with fresh water. The angling lake lies in a, incredibly beautiful peaceful area that has a fine view of Simested river valley, where you can enjoy nature and at the same time have a fantastic angling experience, no matter if you are a seasoned angler or a family on an outing. The size of the lake is approx. 8,500 m², with a depth of 3.5 metres. Fine facilities – two golf courses – overnight accommodation in holiday apartments Here you will find roofed windbreaks with tables/ benches down by the lake, a fish-cleaning facility, fine toilet facilities with hot water, an asphalted parking area, heated angling room, barbecue, invalid- friendly angling spot, shop with fishing tackle, bait, sweets, etc. During the summer season 1-4 kg sized trout put out daily, and fish right up to 8 kg on a regular basis, mainly raimbow trout. The record for the largest fish caught in the lake is 11.6 kg. It is also possible to play golf on two courses at Volstrup Golf Center.
